Costa Rica – Resumption of services

Correos de Costa Rica asks us to inform the designated operators of other Union member countries that postal operations have returned to normal in the affected areas following Hurricane Otto. The extreme weather, which began on 23 November 2016, had a significant impact on transportation and telecommunications infrastructure and, as a result, the postal network.

Correos de Costa Rica thanks designated operators for their understanding in this emergency situation and reaffirms its commitment to efficient postal service delivery.
